Laura Sheriff is a seasoned financial executive with a robust background in finance, administration, and human resources. In April 2024, she assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer at the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, where she oversees the organization's financial operations and strategic fiscal planning. Laura is passionate about serving nonprofits and helping them achieve their missions with excellence. Over the course of her career, Laura served as an actuarial analyst with American Fidelity, a financial analyst at MidFirst Bank, the Director of Finance and Administration at the Oklahoma Parkinson Alliance, and most recently in Executive Ministry for Henderson Hills Baptist Church. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas Lutheran University and is a certified SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional), further enhancing her expertise in human resources and employee benefits management. Laura is active in her community and has volunteered and served on several nonprofit boards and committees. She enjoys serving at her church and the school where her daughter teaches 4th grade. She and her husband Brad have raised their three children in Edmond where they have fun spending time with family and friends, hanging out with their granddaughter, and cheering on the OKC Thunder.
