James Arnold joined the Center in June 2013, where, as he would say, “I make sure that we are good stewards of our donors’ investments”. Doing so involves managing an array of tasks: keeping the Center
501(c)(3) compliant, reporting to our board, keeping us on budget, maintaining our finances, and all with a healthy sense of humor.
Prior to joining the Center, James gained fifteen years’ experience in Hotel Operations, which
evolved into a specialty in Finance. During this time James supervised staffs of up to 250 people, hosted three U.S. Presidents, a British Prime Minister, and numerous celebrities and dignitaries. In 2005 James began his career in
the nonprofit sector, specifically working in human services.
James has lived in multiple cities across the US, and has received his BS from the University of Denver, and his MBA from Xavier University. He has been happily married
for 16 years to his husband Patrick, loves cooking, travelling abroad, and enjoys yard work (but don’t tell his husband). |
