Oklahoma’s nonprofit sector is diverse and interconnected. This session highlights structures, trends, and statewide opportunities that shape nonprofit work. Participants learn how OKCNP serves as a connector supporting collaboration, advocacy, and capacity building. It is an excellent introduction for individuals new to the sector. These live virtual calls are for open to the public, although series registration is required.

In this one‑hour introductory session, you’ll learn the essential building blocks for launching a successful fundraising event from the ground up. We’ll cover the early decisions that matter most, including identifying your event purpose, setting goals, creating a realistic timeline, defining roles, and establishing the core elements that drive revenue.
