Organization Overview
Neighbors Building Neighborhoods of Muskogee, Inc. (NBN) improves the quality of life in Eastern Oklahoma through education, organizational support, and coalition building. This broad mission empowers us to provide a wide range of programs. Initiatives include substance abuse prevention, youth programs, and community revitalization.
The Nonprofit Resource Center, a program of NBN provides services, one on one technical assistance/training and resources to help nonprofits meet community needs. NBN’s mission to improve the quality of life in Eastern Oklahoma combined with NRC’s purpose creates a flexible and innovative approach to our services, which attracts organizations and collaborations from an ever expanding geographic area. The NRC serves organizations and government agencies whose programs and services benefit residents throughout Eastern Oklahoma. Services include consultation and technical assistance in nonprofit incorporation, finance, grant writing, program development, and more. Clients include county and municipal governments, and nonprofits of all sizes in diverse sectors such as arts, education, mental health, historic preservation and more.
