Candidate Video Interview Series
2026
As the state’s third-largest non-government workforce, nonprofit professionals have a major stake in state policy. The Governor and the Attorney General of the State of Oklahoma are key positions that have the ability to influence policy, regulation and, ultimately, operations for nonprofits, so we invited candidates for these offices to share their perspectives.
About the Candidate Video Interview Series
The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits invited all candidates registered to appear on Oklahoma’s November 3 General Election ballot for Governor and for Attorney General. All interviews were recorded in September 2026. All candidates for each office were asked the same questions, which were provided in writing in advance. Candidates for each office were welcomed with the same script, then a 12-minute timer was started for the interview portion. What you see here is directly from the candidates without editing, meaning brief interruptions in Internet connection and other imperfections are preserved in the videos shared below.

Important Notes: All candidates of all parties for the featured offices registered for the November 3 ballot were invited uniformly to participate in this project. If you are affiliated with a candidate’s campaign you don’t see represented here, and that candidate may have availability prior to the General Election, we are pleased to schedule an interview and post it here. Thank you to all candidates, volunteers and staff who contributed your time to this important project!
