Through partnership between the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits and the Oklahoma Partnership for School Readiness, this 2-hour training is designed to equip child care providers across Oklahoma with the essentials for staying compliant and financially sound. Topics will cover responsible business setup, federal and state filing requirements, and payroll considerations that can help small organizations avoid trouble. Participants will also learn best practices for maintaining reliable financial data for grant reporting, tax preparation, and management decisions, including reconciliations, budget-to-actual review, cash flow, and budgeting.
