This facilitated training, sponsored by Three Corners Connector and the Cherokee Strip Community Foundation, and facilitated by the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, is designed to strengthen attendees’ grant capacity by building practical skills across the full grant life cycle, from readiness and opportunity identification to application development, funder relationship-building, reporting compliance, and modern grant tools (including AI and search tools). Lunch will be provided. 

Session Objectives

• Assess organizational grant readiness and clarify the components of a competitive grant strategy.

• Strengthen grant prospecting skills, including identifying aligned funders and opportunities.

• Understand core elements of strong grant applications and how to build funder relationships over time.

• Clarify common grant reporting requirements and differences among major grant types.

• Explore grant tools that improve efficiency and quality, including AI-assisted drafting support, search tools, and workflow resources.
